Yesterday I baked this cake for my older child's birthday. I did not frost this cake. I bought all the ingredients to make a ganache frosting but was a bit tired so did not frost this cake. My child is in Austria. Both my children called home for a zoom birthday celebration. My younger son is in Chicago.
This morning I had birthday cake with tea.
