My mother had a handbag that looked like a folded magazine. It was given to my mother by my aunt. This lotus shaped handbag reminded me of that folded magazine shaped bag.

This Dooney and Bourke bag is throwback style bag. When I was a kid there were fabric bags in India which had colorful embroidery on the fabric and sometimes mirrorwork on them. They had drawstring top like this. This bag reminds me of such bags. I follow a youtuber called Amy@newport. In her youtube she said if you save one dollar a day you get to save $365.00 a year. I thought that was a good idea. The idea of saving up to buy expensive handbags is from a home shopping network TV hostess who saved up during college to buy a Dooney and Bourke bag. The first bag in this page costs $398. The second costs $248.00 The third costs $198.00. And the fourth costs $178.00. The last bag in this page from dooney and bourke costs $328.00.
