When my parents visited me from India in 1998 my mom brought for me an Ashtamangalyam set. There are 8 brass traditional objects like lamps, pot, container, oil dispenser, utensil etc. I lost the one my mom gave me. In 2024 when I visited india I bought one. The pictures above are of the one I bought last year. The store I bought it from gave me 11 objects. But Ashta means 8. So this Ashtamangalyam has 11 objects. But I did not set it out last year. This year I am planning to set it in the home. I also bought two miniature urulis. If you are making something for a large group of people in the old times urulis were used. Now such things are used for decoration. Here is the Ashtamangalyam set on the coffee table along with the urulis.
