Matching Ornaments and bowls, Coffee table decoration for Christmas
Last year after Christmas was over and while I was putting away the Christmas ornaments and decorations I saw a lavender easter basket lying around. Below is a picture of the lavender basket and the purple ornaments that made me think of matching ornaments and containers.
I had purple or a set of ornaments in different shades of purple that I used for decorating the tree or something else but I had this idea of matching the bowl or container to the ornaments in it. My idea was to place the ornaments in different shades of purple in the lavender basket. But I could not implement this idea because Christmas was over by the time I got the idea of matching containers to ornaments. So this year I decided to implement that idea with a blue bowl and matching blue ornaments.
A picture I took yesterday afternoon. The bowl is filled to the brim so the color of the bowl is not visible.
So I removed a few ornaments so the color would be visible. This picture was taken early this morning so the light is dim and so even the color of the ornaments look different.
I had a ceramic bowl made by my child which was painted brown and I filled it with gold ornaments because gold is sort of similar to brown. And I did not have brown ornaments.
I placed more ornaments from the blue bowl to a coppery bronzy bowl for now. If possible I may match ornaments for the huge copper bronze bowl.
Here is how the living room looks now. The blankets on the sofa were given to us in 2008. They are no-sew blankets. There were four blankets and two were Christmas themed. One has the picture of Santa and one is nativity.
Here is the coffee table.
After looking at other pictures in the internet I feel as though I should add flowers or a plant to the table.
