Pink Flowers and Table Topics

This post was prepared by me for yesterday but did not get to post it yesterday. The day before yesterday morning when I went to water the plants there was a gentle breeze. It was a lovely morning for the most part. Earlier I had noticed these pink flowers. Yesterday morning I photographed them. In the upcoming months I am hoping to work on planting flowers for the front porch. On Tuesday I also participated in Toastmasters club meeting. I answered three Table Topics questions. One was about winning the lottery and which charity I would contribute to. I said Missionaries of charity by Mother Theresa in Calcutta India. In the US I would contribute to head start preschool enrichment program for innner city schools so a good environment to grow and flourish can be given to young children. The second question I was asked was what habit I started recently and what benefits I gained from it. I said I started recently the practice of reading 40 pages a day. I could not think of any tangible benefit I gained from reading the books. Last year I started the practise of reading newspapers and grew in the area of gaining knowledge about events in the world. The third question I was asked was any sport I would like to change as in rules of the game or the way it is played. I said Boxing. This answer was inspired by another participant who said wrestling. When they said wrestling I remembered another violent sport. I said boxing was a very violent, and aggressive sport and I don't understand anyone who likes boxing. I hope you have a lovely day!
