Today I painted this lotus. Usually I paint lots of pink lotuses. This lotus has very little pink. It has yellow in the middle. The lotus is sorrounded by a sea of green which was very easy to paint.
I also photographed these lilacs in the yard. When I went near the plant to photograph them their exquisite fragrance was so enchanting. If you would like your yard to smell nice I recommend lilacs. The only drawback is that they only bloom for two weeks or so a year.
