Jewelry from JC Penney 2
Here is some beautiful jewelry I discovered while browsing JCPenney
.com.
These necklaces are so pretty.
We are used to wearing rings made of metal--gold or silver or any other metal. Here are plastic rings in addition to metal rings.
I love to have an assortment of small earrings. In Target there is a brand called Wild Fable which is where I first saw such earrings. Earrings with lots of different colored gemstones.
This is the latest trending style, I think. Something I would like to try.
Jewelry from JC Penney
These two necklaces are so pretty.
I like the velvet ribbon choker. I have a velvet ribbon choker in burgundy but black would look so nice.
I liked all these necklaces.
This can be worn all together or each one of them individually.
My American Eagle Haul
I love this choker. Can look nice with a denim dress.
Butterfly anklets.
I always wanted to do a haul post. I have seen vlogs where they do haul videos. I never have the courage to spend lots of money at once.
Because yesterday I visited AE I found an entire rack of jewelry and socks for 2.99. I bought these four and this is my version of a haul post because usually I only buy one or maximum two items at a time.
AE finds
I found these necklaces in American Eagle. The first one is exactly similar to one worn by Suri Cruise in a picture I saw in the internet. Suri Cruise is a celebrity I really like. Her style is totally awesome.
The chain and heart necklace was also originally inspired by Suri Cruise. In one picture I saw her wearing a silver chain necklace with a heart locket. It was so pretty. After that I always noticed necklaces like that. But yesterday I bought a slightly different
version. This one is gold and the chain is not like a heavy chain.
If you search the internet you can find a picture of Suri Cruise wearing such a thick silver chain with a heart locket. In that picture
she wears a pink Indian dress with a green blazer.

Travel Handbags
These two bags remind of the phrase no-nonsense. A quick google search told me no-nonsense means
practical and serious, and only interested in doing what is necessary or achieving what is intended, without silly ideas or methods:
This is ideal for travel because you can place all your travel documents in the compartments.
Hair Bows
I thought these two bows were pretty. If you have straight hair that at least reaches your shoulders you can gather some hair from each side of your face and tie it at the back of your head with these bows and it will look nice. I saw these bows online. I don't have these bows. According to my mom your hair should look very nice from the back-- just as nice as it looks in the front.
Here are two pictures of hairstyles with bows that I got from the internet.

Aukus Pact and Philadelphi Corridor
One way to know more about the world around us is by reading the newspaper and by jotting down terms or phrases you would like to know more about. Then Google the phrases or names you jotted down and write down a few points about that term from the info that comes up. Recently I read the newspaper and came across two terms I did not know much about. I googled it and wrote down a few points about each of those terms. This is my way of slowly increasing my knowledge about the world around me. How else can we be a well informed citizen of our country except by reading the newspaper regularly. I hope I read the newspaper more regularly. I got this idea of reading the newspaper and googling terms you wanted to know more about from a person who topped a competitive career exam in India. Here are two terms I studied more about.
Aukus is a pact between three nations viz US, UK and Australia..
It was formed in 2021.
It is a military technology partnership.
It's purpose is collective security.
It seeks to gain stability in the Indo-pacific region in order to procure military security for these three nations.
It is a response to the threat posed by China to the peace of the Indo Pacific region.
Philadelphi corridor
Is the Israeli code name for a narrow area of land that extends along the border between Gaza and Egypt.
In 2005 an accord with Egypt was concluded by Israel known as the philadelphi accord according to which both the Egyptian side and the Gaza side was monitored by the military to prevent illegal movement of weapons from Egypt to Gaza.

Fall Dresses
This Summer I wanted to buy lots of dresses and wear lots of dresses throughout summer.
That was my plan at the beginning of summer.
At the beginning of summer I bought two dresses.
Both were from JC Penney.
One is orange.
And the other is denim.
I wore both once.
But after that my enthusiasm just reduced or I got caught up in other things and I did not buy any more dresses in summer.
But I am happy I at least bought two dresses.
Last week I stumbled upon a haul of awesome junior clothes.
I had one to two hours of pure joy browsing through the clothes and jewelry and styling ideas.
Even though I would love to live in sweatshirts and sweatpants in fall it would be nice to wear a dress for a special occasion in fall.
To pair a dress with a knitted cardigan would be cute.
And for real special occasions I found so many cute dresses.
One denim dress was paired with a denim choker and boots and silver bag.
Here are pictures of some of the dresses I liked.
Fall is a time when most people choose sombre colors. But it may be unexpected to wear a floral dress in fall.
Inspired by the Grocery Store
One day last week my g cart was filled with the items pictured above. In a burst of inspiration I wrote the following paragraph.
Today I went to the g store.
One thing I am loving is finding things in the g store, paying close attention to the brands, the description of the food item etc
Like just think about the people behind the veggies and fruits, the cashews, and the raisins and the milk and butter.
Today I bought cashews by planters for 4:48.
Last time, I bought cashews it was by fareway.
Today I bought Kerry gold butter.
It is made from milk that feeds on pure Irish grass.
The raisins are by sunmaid.
The onions are by some farm.
The milk is by prairie farms.
One thing is imported.
That is butter.
It is imported from Ireland.
The cashews may be from India.
The raisins from California.
The raisins have a story to tell.
The cashews have a story to tell.
Butter has a story to tell.
Milk has a story to tell.
Onions have a story to tell.
How they got to be sitting on the shelf in a grocery store in Iowa.
The long road they travelled.
Read the packaging.
It tells us the ingredients.
It tells us the nutrients.
The vitamins contained in each spoon ful.
It tells us what the producer wants us to know about their product.
Some tell it with a lot of fanfare.
Some tell it quietly and matter of factly.

Layering for the season
Fall is a time when temps drop.
There is a chill in the air sometimes and the breeze is more brisk.
Layering is a word that is often repeated a lot when it comes to fall wardrobe.
Layering was very difficult for me.
Yet I did not like to buy clothes that have the faux layered look.
A different colored fabric peeking out at the bottom of the top layer giving the impression that you are wearing a long tee underneath the top layer but actually it is a piece of fabric in a different color that is attached to the only layer.
I did not like this faux look but I was not good at real layering. I read somewhere that if layering is not done well it can make you look bulky.
The key to layering is that the T shirt or tank top you wear inside has to be very thin.
Then layering will work.
Here are some layering ideas:
These two tops above can help you layer well.
I dont know if it is okay to layer with this kind of shirt but if you wear a plaid shirt over this you get a pattern on pattern look.
A trend I would like to try
Hoodies to feel happy in
Hoodies to feel happy in! This is from JC Penney juniors back to school collection. I love these because of the happy colors, the characters on them, the names of univs or places, and the loose fit. So perfect for lounging, studying
chores, errands, and every casual activity.
My fathers friends daughters name is Minni Khanna. One day during my childhood my family visited New Delhi from Kerala. My father took us to meet my father's old friend from the very early days of his career. My father's friends last name is khanna and we called him khanna uncle. When we reached his house his daughter Minni called myself and my sibling and her younger brother ( my younger brother was too young) and we went from their home to a nearby sweet shop. There, Minni sweetly piled us with lots of north Indian sweets. I like this Minnie mouse sweatshirt because of my sweet memory of Minni Khanna. I also like the fact that it is long.
Jeans
My personal opinion is that sweatpants are more comfortable than jeans.
If we can wear comfortable, soft sweatpants I would pick it over a thick tough fabric like denim.
The only exceptions are the following jeans from JC Penney juniors.
I like the detail in the first pair and the embroidery in the second.
I hope you have a lovely day!
