Pankhuri Gidwani

Pankhuri Gidwani was crowned second runner up of femina Miss India 2016. She is the brand ambassador for Khadi-- the fabric of Mahatma Gandhi. I listened to her Ted Talks speeches and found them so inspiring. The first Ted Talks speech I heard by her was about Falling Upwards. She said we should not take our failures too seriously. She won the Miss India pageant but did not win the Miss Grand India pageant. She missed her board exams to participate in the Miss India pageant. So when she did not win the Miss Grand India pageant she went back to studies and completed her schooling and received 97.25 percentage in her 12th standard exams. Thus she converted her failure into a victory by Falling Upwards. Failures can help motivate us to work hard and turn our failures into successes.
