Chandeliers

When I think of chandeliers an artwork of light comes to mind. Long crystal garlands reflecting brilliant light casting a magical glow in a medieval french or belgian palace. We might think it costs thousands of dollars. But in houzz.com you get to see modern chandeliers not as elaborate as the ones you might find in a belgian palace. Instead the ones in houzz.com are much simpler in scale and that perhaps better fit the modern lifestyle. And costs very few dollars. This costs only $143.00. For a chandelier I think the price is very low.
This costs only $149.00
Some of these incorporate a lot more wood than in the old type chandelier. The word chandelier has to do with candles and branches of light. Here is the description of chandelier I found in wikipedia. Chandelier. A chandelier (/ˌʃændəˈlɪər/; sometimes called suspended lights) is an ornamental light fixture, often with branched supports for multiple lights, designed to be mounted from the ceiling.[1][2] Chandeliers are often ornate, and they were originally designed to hold candles, but now incandescent light bulbs are commonly used, and fluorescent lamps and LEDs may also be used in some modern designs. Classic chandeliers have arrays of hanging crystal prisms to illuminate a room with refracted light, while contemporary chandeliers may assume a more minimalist design that does not contain prisms and illuminate a room with direct light from the lamps, sometimes also equipped with translucent glass covering each lamp. Modern chandeliers have a more modernized design that uses LEDs, and combines the elements of both classic and contemporary designs; some are also equipped with refractive crystal prisms or small mirrors.
In Houzz.com the more elaborate ones are slightly more expensive. It is such a wonderful way to decorate the home.
I dont know for sure if the very last picture is from Houzz.com.
